How to export Nudge campaigns to Google Sheets

The Google Sheets export tool is great if you are looking for a way to export data from your campaigns, broken out by day, device and traffic source.

It also works as an intermediary for piping data from Nudge into a DMP. ie Tableau, Google Data Studio etc.

To use this tool, simply create yourself a copy of the sheet here.

Once you have copied the sheet, fill out the details in the Settings tab.

Details Required: API Key - You can request this from support@giveitanudge.com if you do not have this already. Campaign ID - This is the ID of the campaign you wish to sync / export data from. You can find this by visiting the campaign in the Nudge dashboard and copying the 8 digit ID from the campaign URL.

*Campaign ID can be found in the browser URL bar via the Nudge dashboard.*

Once you have you API key and campaign ID you simply need to select the Nudge menu item, and hit Run Campaign Sync.

If you would also like a copy of the exported data to be emailed to yourself or others, you can simply add the email addresses in the cell provided in the Settings tab. Separating the email addresses by a comma will allow you to add multiple.

E.g.

email1@companyname.com, email2@companyname.com, email3@companyname.com

FAQ

Why am I being asked to authorize an app when I run the sync? If it’s the first time you have used this tool, you will need to authorize the app with your google account. You will only need to do this once per account.

I’m getting an error saying “This app isn’t verified” what do I do? Because this is still new, it’s not yet verified by Google. You simply need to hit Show Advanced ******and then click Go to Campaign Data Sync V3 (unsafe) and it will continue.
